Ponte Vecchio - Brooklyn

The hot circus pasta was overly greasy and didn't taste good. The moon ravioli was decent, probably a 6 out of 10. However, the mozzarella appetizer was fantastic, a perfect 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, the table we were seated at was located next to the bus station, so the ambiance was not the best.

Having frequented Bay Ridge restaurants for years, I had never been to Ponte Vecchio until recently. I was very impressed by the high quality food and attentive service. We started with the mozzarella, tomato, and pepper appetizer, which was perfect for sharing. The peppers added a nice kick to the creamy mozzarella. A generous basket of warm bread and room temperature butter was a delightful addition to the meal. I tried the shrimp scampi with a side of capellini and was thoroughly satisfied. The dessert options were varied, with my companion enjoying the chocolate mousse cake and me opting for the profiterole. The only downside was the noise level, which was a bit loud due to celebrations. Despite this, I would happily return to Ponte Vecchio.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are all exceptional.

Great place with good food. Went here before seeing the XMass lights in Dyker Heights.
