Pizza D'amore - Brooklyn

I've visited this Pizza D'amore and another location in Brooklyn. The food is exceptional. While prices have increased over the past year, they are still reasonable, and I believe the overall experience is worth every cent. The service is consistently excellent.

I really enjoy the pizza "sticks" as a substitute for bread. The sauce is fantastic, and I appreciate the good selection of reasonably priced wines. The ambiance of the place is great, too. However, I really dislike the parking situation!

We dined at the restaurant on Saturday night, arriving for our 6:30 reservation, and we were seated immediately. After placing our order, we were served some bread that resembled pizza but without cheese. A large carafe of ice water on the table was a nice touch. Although the place was busy, the service was quite good. I had the clams with linguine, which was delicious, though I was disappointed to find two clearly broken shells in my dish. My husband tried the bruschetta veal Milanese, which was excellent, but unfortunately, the veal was overcooked.

Everything was delicious, I had a salad with grilled chicken and my husband had shrimp Parmesan. The service was excellent.

We go to Pizza DAmore a lot. The food is great and the service is excellent.
