Good is very good. However, the venue is very drafty in the winter. The only way to warm up is to drink and wear layers.

Pilar offers delicious, authentic Cuban food and tasty cocktails. My ropa vieja brought back the memories of my trip to Cuba : cocktail with guava and ginger-lemon was refreshing and matched perfectly with the ambience : would definitely recommend to anyone looking for Cuban cuisine in New York :

Lovely experience! Delicious, flavorful food, nice atmosphere, and every staff member we interacted with was lovely. Already planning to bring family when they're here visiting from out of town. A great evening.
