Atmosphere is cool and relaxed. Food was woooonderful. The staff and Chef Rico were INCREDIBLY accommodating. After learning I was a vegetarian they made me an amazing plate that was creative, beautiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

Don't listen to the hipster pissants whining about sending food back. The food here is amazing. Hands down. The sushi is some of the freshest I've tried. Highlights of the meal were the fresh salmon, ikura, and sea urchin. The highlights of the finger food were the Korean style chicken wings and scallops. The food and drink menu is always changing, so don't be afraid of asking the staff what's good today.

Great dinner spot with a chill ambience and good service. I stopped here after going to a dance class at the Mark Morris Dance Center in the neighborhood and we were starving for a good meal. We had the edamame to start and split three rolls.y favorite was the hamachi jalapeño roll. It was beautifully prepared and the jalapeño added the perfect spice and flavoring. I also got a draft Sapporo to go with my dinner for only $4 on a Friday night. I'd go again to try more of their entree menu and even brunch. Highly recommend!

THIS IS A MUST GO AND EXPERIENCE TYPE OF RESTAURANT!!!!!! Chef Jeff not only is a master in creation of fusion dishes, he mesmerizes you in the presentation and combinations! I took my wife there and she was blown away at the atmosphere, staff friendliness, and quality of the dishes. If I could have given 10 stars, I would have! Thanks Kinjo and Chef Jeff for making me a superstar to my wife for taking her there!

Great creative americanized Japanese food. Ingredients are fantastic but somehow this is more a bar than a restaurant. Try the baby octopus. They are to die for, especially at the bar with a great draft beer.
