I 'm not Asian so I 'm not going to claim that it 's authentic Sichuan . However I did live in the far east for several years so I can tell the difference between good Chinese food and PF Chang 's. What I can say is that I 've ordered Chinese food from all over Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Grand Sichuan is consistently the best I 've found. I was introduced to the brick-and-mortar restaurant on 85th Street by a Chinese friend who was a seafood purveyor to restaurants all over the five boroughs. Their menu knocked me out so I was very pleased to find them Grubhub during the pandemic. Since then I 've remained a loyal customer.The food is flavorful, consistently fresh and different from standard issue Chinese delivery. Even their brown rice is unlike other Chinese restaurants.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my friend. It was a Wednesday so it wasn't crowded, but there were a few other occupied tables. We ordered wonton soup, shared shrimp wontons in hot oil, and dry cumin beef and salt and pepper squid. I had heard good things about this place and it lived up to the hype. The soup and wontons were good, but nothing extraordinary. The squid was pleasantly surprising, not tasting frozen or overly fried. The dry cumin beef was fantastic and definitely a dish I would order again. I look forward to returning with more friends to try more dishes.

I have not been there since the pandemic. They have FALLEN OFF. I came all the way out there for the shrimp fried rice since they made it brown and nit yellow rice like a lot of these places but it was tasteless!!! and the shrimp was not cooked well done. The orange chicken was hard. This is my LAST visit.Food: 1/5
