The service at this restaurant is awful. Customers have to wait a long time for their food to be prepared and plated. Moreover, there is an additional wait for the food to actually be served because the young man in the kitchen is too busy cooking jerk chicken and does not stop to hand out the dishes. It seems like the only time he takes a break is when everyone's food is already ready and waiting to be served from behind the glass. Overall, the service is just terrible.

The food is absolutely delicious. Catering to a diverse range from American to West Indian cuisine. Its always a busy place especially after 12pm ALWAYS, and food runs out relatively early so GET THERE EARLY. ????????

Rude staff. The lady behind the counter refused to serve me a side order of rice and peas. She claimed they couldn't spare such a small order. When I looked at the pan it was full of rice. She even went on to dismiss me..smh unbelievable. I will neverpatronize this location again and furthermore it's probably best to order via Ubereats or another service that way thesemiserable ladies don't see who's ordering. Why the Jamaican ladies that work in these restaurants so miserable and rude????

I am currently on holiday in New York and decided to revisit this restaurant from my last visit. The service was a bit brusque from the woman taking our order, which I assume is typical New York Jamaican style. We ordered two Jerk Chicken and two Oxtail medium meals, which were priced higher than in the UK at just over $60. Overall, the food tasted good. The Jerk Chicken was not charcoal grilled like in London, but the gas grill did a decent job. However, there was not enough sauce on the Oxtail meals, a common complaint in many reviews. The Oxtails themselves were cut small, about half the size of what I would get in a UK West Indian takeaway. It's unfortunate that they seem to skimp on portions, except for the rice, because the food is flavorful. I am undecided on whether I will eat here again when I return to New York in the future. The price did not reflect the quality or quantity of the food.

The food is good and reasonably priced, but the restaurant doesn't prioritize orders based on when they were placed. There was a situation where a customer who ordered first was upset when others who ordered after her received their food first. This led to a heated argument and the customer cursing at the worker before getting a refund and leaving. It was chaotic during rush hour, with many customers waiting for jerk chicken, which was sold out. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't communicate well about the shortage of popular items. When I finally received my food, the worker forgot to give me sauce despite multiple reminders. They also added the wrong sauce to one of my items even though I had declined it. Overall, the customer service was lacking and I regretted my decision to eat here after a long wait for my order. I may reconsider purchasing food from this establishment in the future.
