Caribbean Vibes - Brooklyn

The rice and peas are dry, clumpy, and lacking in flavor. They are average, receiving a rating of 3 out of 5. The macaroni salad is typical and also receives a 3 out of 5 rating. The oxtails have a slightly tangy sauce and some chewy pieces, but there is a good amount of fat that adds to the overall flavor. They receive a rating of 3.5 out of 5.

I will always appreciate the Caribbean atmosphere of this restaurant, but I miss the old staff that used to work there. There are too many new faces for my liking, but I wish them all the best. Jah bless them.

The stewed pork was excellent, as was the oxtail which was tender and flavorful. Although I ordered the jerk pork, the jerk chicken was also very good.

The amount if fat on the oxtail is really ridiculous. There is probably more fat in my plate than meat . . The meat taste good but i have to peel back all of the fat that is not enjoyable. I just want to dig in i shouldnt be cleaning the fat that should already be off the oxtail this process is making the meal less enjoyable.
