Great service, great atmosphere, great people to treat. the move with the brown sugar family for many years for many occasions had only one birthday party that was supervised. eating was before place and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. can't believe that the negatiw that I see has come up, always a pleasure to make business with brown sugar.

Saturday 11 May 2019 breakfast. service badly waits long periods after sitting (1/2 hours) no water, ice, broth etc. after the patiently waiting seat small 6oz plastic cups and small paper plates were given. each table was given a 64 unc warm bottle soda, and the customers were asked to go into the bar if we wanted ice or water. this type of service lasted until we at 9:30. we all gathered to honor a love and wanted to enjoy the remembrance, remember and enjoy together a meal. we did nothing about the situation, but I only had to evaluate and evaluate this experience.

May 11, 2019 This past Saturday I attended a repast for a family member given at Brown Sugar. I was truly disappointed with this Bedford/Stuyvesant landmark. Although it has been a number of years since I have attended any venue there i was disappointed with the service and food. My other big issue for me was not having a rest room on the main level for seniors or any one with a walking disability. The restroom that was offer was down a step flight of stairs, dark and unsafe. You would think after having this restaurant open for over 25 years, you would think enough of your customers to have put one in on the main level. Now a good experience for me.

This is the worst place to rent an okkka. please never give this place their business. they will be disappointed as I did.
