Akaru Sushi - Brooklyn

This place is fantastic! They offer fast delivery and the sushi is excellent. A basic sushi roll is just $7. Go ahead and place an order—you won't regret it! Food: 5/5

This restaurant shows a complete lack of regard for its customers. I ordered Yaki Udon with chicken, and it arrived with an extraordinarily small amount of chicken for $14. The experience was dreadful, the staff was rude, and the ambiance was terrible. There was also nowhere comfortable to sit. It feels like they’ve completely given up.

The best sushi lunch special in Bushwick! I do wish they offered inari, but the New York roll is now the new California roll!

I really appreciate Akaru. They deliver SO fast, and they're more reasonably priced than most sushi places of equivalent quality. There are certainly fancier spots with nicer digs, but Akaru is at a perfect cross section of price/quality that keeps me coming back.
