When the back door opened, I caught the attention of a woman, smiled at her, and she rudely told me to have my daughter come back later because they were busy, even though there was only one other customer in the restaurant at the time. The next day, I returned and was met with excuse after excuse. They claimed they were out of applications, the ink was low, and offered to take my name and number to call me later. It's now October, and I've heard nothing back. Clearly, this is not a suitable workplace for my daughter. I can't help but feel there's a racial issue at play, combined with the staff's unpleasant attitudes.
