Basil Rice - Brookline

I've ordered from here a few times and it's always been great, but today I had a particularly satisfying experience. I was tired and ordered from their online pickup menu and thought I was ordering a regular green curry. I was a little surprised when I gothome and realized I had mistakenly ordered a green curry burrito--something I didn't even realize was on the menu--but I figuredsince it was my bad and I'd already walked a half mile home I'd eat it anyway. Never something I'd think to order on my own, butwow was it delicious. It was fast, filling, cheap and, again, incredibly tasty. I will be ordering it again. My only regret wasordering a side of rice because I did not anticipate the burrito, and I definitely didn't need that after such a hearty meal.

We ordered from Jumbowl by Basil Rice. I got the grilled fish with sweet sauce and rice. I liked that the sauce was not over drizzled over the fish so the fish was still a bit crisp by the time we got our order. It was good enough portion for alunch. Overall it was decent. Nothing crazy or wow.

I've been here a few times and was never really disappointed. We ordered a few dishes drunken noodle(my fav), house fried rice orange chicken and they were all good taste wise. I think the noodles is small for price but everything else seemed reasonablypriced. This is 1 of the top 3 go to in Brookline.

Basil Rice is so consistent and reliable always delicious and delivery is always on time if not early! You can get quite a hearty meal at an affordable price. Whatever you get, definitely give the mango sticky rice a try for dessert! Their Thai iced tea is also delicious.

Food was very good. I'm a Pad Thai snob and really liked theirs. Large portions, not overly oily like many others in the genre. We ate in, but got the sense they mostly do take out.
