I was looking for a good Italian sandwich and this came up on Google. I was not disappointed. Also picked up some Antipasto mix and an Italian soda. Every so often I get a hankerin’ for a big old Italian sub, and this place will be high on my list to get back to.
I love this deli! Great staff and the food is delish! Their catering options are great and my children always request their food for their birthday dinners! Try the stuffed shells ...yummy!
Ugh....we've had a bit of trouble lately finding great places to eat. Good thing my list of places to try is really long! We came to Danielle's Deli for lunch and to see what they have to offer. The first problem is that they were out of sub rolls and had to make our sandwiches using two hard rolls each. My husband had the Milano he said it was fine but nothing special. I had the Phila deli hot sub. This is supposed to have mozzarella, peppers, onions, and mushrooms on it. It had provolone instead and there were absolutely no onions or peppers and two of the tiniest mushrooms you've ever seen on it. The beef was dry the sandwich needed a side of sauce to dip it in. It also wasn't seasoned. I rarely think anything needs salt and I was looking for a salt shaker/packet for this sandwich (no salt to be found anywhere). We also bought a bit of the pasta salad flavorless. Do they not cook the noodles in salted water? That would have helped a bit. We still have a meatball and a couple sausages to try my husband will be having those for lunches this week. The one standout was the plain brownie; THAT was fantastic and I would stop to get that again. We were hoping that Danielle's would be our go to deli but we both agreed that it's worth the extra time to get to Glorioso's instead.
I love the food and the people here! Thank you for keeping traditional Italian food alive! This is so much closer than me having to drive to Milwaukee. Keep up the great work!
