The George Hayes - BROMLEY

We recently visited The George after it was renovated for the first time and we were extremely impressed by the new decor and layout of the restaurant. The manager, Del, should be commended for his very welcoming and helpful staff. We opted for the wine and dine experience priced at £100 and were delighted by the quality of the food from the starter all the way to dessert, complemented by a fantastic selection of wine. We will surely be making another reservation soon as The George has become a place we want to keep coming back to.

Like the refurb. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Car park becoming a euro car park is annoying but guess they must have had issues…

The pub is charming, with beautiful decor and a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, although I found the half chicken portion to be rather small. However, the rest of our party enjoyed their meals.

My husband and I dined with another couple at this restaurant. We decided to sit indoors. The food was fantastic - we enjoyed all three courses, including steak and sea bass. The wine selection was also impressive. The service was excellent, we couldn't find any faults. It was a bit pricier than our usual choices, but it was definitely worth it.

Everything was good apart from the seating area . We were sat on a small square table which was a bit cramped especially as there was four of us seated. When you have flowers ,candles and menus there's not much room for plates. So we moved to a larger seating area then had to order the food ourselves as it was not the restaurant part.
