Was looking forward to visiting Havet. Started with cocktails, the selection is great. We then skipped starters and chose the four meat, and 3 sides combo main as a sharing platter between two. Three Lamb dishes and 1 chicken, although our choice of lamb doner was unavailable on this occasion. The meat was delicious and succulent, the shish and kofte were perfectly cooked and seasoned lovely. The helim chips sides were tasty, as were the garlic condiments. Only let down was the bread which wasn't the traditional Turkish lava bread, but it was just a tortila cut into six. The chips were pretty standard and the cabbage salad was lacking flavour. The Katmer dessert of a pistachio cream concealed within a filo pastry, accompanied with vanilla ice cream was devine. I will definitely go back for the lunch time special wraps. A nice dining experience.
Always wanted to come to this restaurant heard good things, glad that I came food was excellent had calamari to start and vegetable moussaka for main. My daughter had the prawns for her main which was lovely. Staff were very friendly and polite, service was quick will definitely comeback.
Amazing as always, the staff is so super kind. It was my daughters 8th birthday and they treated her and her friends so kindly! Lovely evening, thanks to their team (and delicious food)!
Nice place with lots to chose from on the menu. Starters were decent but unfortunately the chicken and lamb shish were a little bit overcooked, dry, and under seasoned hence the reason I'm giving it a 4 star. I've been twice in 3 years and it was the same on both occasions. Otherwise everything else was good including the service.
