Afters Original - BROMLEY

Although it was my bday I took my family out for a meal, cinema and dessert to Afters! This place is a real gem in Beckenham. Everyone had a great time deciding on what they wanted, there really is something for everyone, the atmosphere is great, and it’s a real fun place to visit. The staff were v attentive and helpful and I understand the gelato is freshly made by their own chefs and was absolutely delicious with a huge range of flavours available and the pistachio I had has to be compared to the best I’ve ever tasted in London or even Italy!!! I understand from talking to the staff the shop is under new management from 2019 we had a great experience and would recommend to everyone!

I brought six children to Afters Ice Cream Parlor on Beckenham High Street after watching Mary Poppins at the cinema. The kids had a blast picking out their desserts from the wide selection available. The staff was very welcoming and child-friendly, making it a great experience for everyone. It was a fantastic idea to have the children discuss the movie and open their party bags here. I had arranged for the parents to pick up their kids from the parlor, and they even stayed for coffee and dessert before leaving. I highly recommend a visit to Afters Ice Cream Parlor.

My family visited this restaurant on Monday, August 29th at 9:45pm to get some ice cream. There were 6 of us, including a twin pram. We asked if we could sit at a larger table due to the pram, but a man told us we couldn't. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. This place is not family or mom-friendly. I do not recommend it.

The afters in Beckenham is by far the worse shop ever. They accept orders on Ubereats then put whatever they want in your food. They don’t consider notes or allergies. I will be reporting them as they could kill someone. They do not answer their phones as I’ve been calling for more than 3 days and I’m sure I’ve left over 60 missed calls! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! WORSF CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Staff in the Beckenham branch as no manners the lady speaking on the phone was absolutely rude and unpleasant and unprofessional to speak to this wasn’t just one member of staff most of that sound like they don’t care about the customer and there attitude towards working they , there tone of voice is unpleasant and sounds like they do no want to be there nor do they sound like they want to answer the phone . I am very unhappy and have been a loyal customer via the deliveroo app I will not repeat not place a order with them again
