Billy Ray's Catfish Bbq Broken Arrow

Our food was good and the servers were attentive. Wish they grilled their corn on the cob instead of boiling it though. I'll have to try the catfish sometime but right now I'm liking the BBQ. There's a heavy smoked hickory flavor to the sauce and it's not on the table, it comes out with the food in a bowl. This could mean it's fresh made or, it's bought in bulk to me. Tarter sauce is on the table though.

The food was great. Tender ribs, excellent catfish, tender burnt ends (they weren 't really burnt ends, more like cubed brisket, but still tender and tasty). Fried okra was light and crispy. Coleslaw was decent, smoked chicken was also good. Tabouli, was also very good. The only thing I wouldn 't order again was the beans, they were too sweet and too runny. That was the only disappointing thing in our meal. That aside, we will be back again, and for sure will be getting the catfish. It was light, crispy, moist and seasoned perfectly.

Food great had the Catfish hand breaded.. Service is isually 1 person run register and all tables, so its marginal service at best, but I will accept that for good food.Food: 4/5

If I could give this restaurant a 100 I would, but it’s always the minute you walk in the door. Hello how to see where are you would like the food is always great and it service is always top-of-the-line all right along with the food. I love to eat here so to my kids.Food: 5/5
