Brockworth Fryer

We arrived 20min before closing time, so we didn't have many options. The staff were very pleasant and the sausages and chips were quite nice. The place itself was very clean. Closes at 9pm, which means staff leave (I suppose only get paid till) 9 so if you are unfortunate enough to arrive in the previous half hour you will find all the fryers turned off, so what chips that are left have been wrapped up and kept just warm, there is no possibility of getting a piece of fish fried so to accompany the lukewarm chips your only choices are whatever leftovers, the odd fishcake, sausage or pie, there may be. Less choice than rummaging through a restaurant waste bin. More hygienic, maybe, but more expensive.
