Brockberry Grill Catering Suites

Easy to find, right on the main street of Brockville. All of us had food that was good and prepared to our specifications...although the servings were kind of large!! Enjoyed eating outside and getting fresh air along with enjoying good food.

We popped in here on our way to Ribfest as we were hungry and wanted a more varied lunch. Lovely patio beautifully landscaped overlooking King Street. I had the vegetarian Pita with a salad, delicious and my husband had the brisket. The Brisket was just amazing, melt in your mouth good. Will definitely go back and try other menu items.

Our party of four enjoyed a leisurely luncheon at the Brockberry. Service was excellent, meals were tasty, and our server, Barb, ensured us we did not have to hurry. We were catching up with family from Nova Scotia, so this experience of extending a visit with good food was priceless. Will highly recommend this establishment. Thank you.

This place bills itself as a Smokehouse Grill with a number of items on the menu that are "not so smokey." My wife had pan seared salmon, and I went for the Texas slow smoked brisket, which was delicious. The Brockberry is owned by the same couple who own the Maplehurst B&B in nearby Maitland, and the husband is the chef.

This Review is directed to the Brockberry Suites, specifically the St. Lawrence Suite-2. What is does have --- REEKED of smoke smell throughout, made me sick to my stomach and could only spend a limited time there -- only to sleep. Clean bathroom, clean bedding, hardwood floors beneath the old looking carpet, extremely bright lighting, working window a/c, windows can be opened, high ceilings with working ceiling lights and fans, nothing able to eliminate the awful smell within the Suite. Also had a working full size refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Free parking in the rear with no lighting. Many many many stairs to Suite, and within walking distance to sites and activities. Two full sets of towels with the smell of fabric softner; when I asked for more towels the owner seemed put out by getting additional towels and did so late the next day. Will not stay here again.
