Been here since I was a kid in early 2000 and I may never find a place I like more. It’s hands down the best place for reliable food and an old school vibe. Never change.
2nd time I have ordered and they make my sub saturated in oul/ dressing, when I specifically say none. Since it has been bought from Gus, this has happened more time than I can count. Staff are pretty rude. So kiss Gus, Joanne and all the family that used to work together to make it an amazing place. We were told it would not change, but it sure has, even the atmosphere. Not as friendly and homey. It is too bad. I at least hope Gus and Joanne are enjoying there retirement .
Disgusting food! Who would ever call this mess Italian food! It had no flavor at all and was so bland i had to add my own seasonings. Veal Parm hardly had any meat (wasn't even a breaded cutlet), the meat you did get was sliced deli meat between something that was unfamiliar! Phantom Gourmet got this one totally wrong!
The most delicious meatballs ever! Went in to order catering for a party, left with dinner for that evening. <3
