Stoneyard Breakfast Company - Brockport

Me and my friends went to here this Sunday for a nice late breakfast. When we got there, I thought the idea of picking your own mug and filling it up was so cute, but when I filled up my coffee, it was lukewarm. I got a simple meal- two eggs, sausage, and toast. I ordered links but the waitress informed me they had run out so I got patties instead. We waited for over an hour and my eggs were cold when they came on the plate. The Stone Yard has great potential, but they need to fix a few things with their service before I come back.

Mix of good skillet dishes and very basic breakfast offerings at an incredibly poorly operated restaurant. Rating of 1 for the service and 3 for the food. First visit for breakfast with a group of 4. Good selection of egg dishes and interesting skillet combinations with a few sandwiches and only basic pancakes or french toast. Be prepared to wait up to an hour for a table even when empty tables are available. Staff just walked past tables waiting to be cleared for 30 minutes while 3 groups were waiting to be seated. This continued throughout our meal with 3 5 groups waiting at all times while empty tables sat waiting to be cleared. Two of our party enjoyed the skillet combinations while two were disappointed in the breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the prime rib sandwich that turned out to be sliced roast beef. Coffee and water are both self service and ran out during our meal. A real hit or miss place to avoid unless you have 3 hours to kill.

My husband and I have eaten at the Stoneyard Breakfast Company many times and have generally always been happy with their service and food. Today we were not so lucky. After we were seated we ordered our food and two hot chocolates. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and had to ask our waiter to bring them to us. My husband's hot chocolate was barely warm. When we asked for it to be warmed, the waitress added hot water to it, diluting the flavor entirely. Our cinnamon bun was great and that was really the saving grace of our time there today. Three other tables that were seated after us were served before us. Our waiter stopped at our table twice the entire hour we were there. The other waitress working did more for us than our actual waiter. At one point we considered leaving and paying for what we had been served since it took almost an hour for our two breakfasts. We were extremely disappointed in what is normally a great breakfast. Since they have changed their style of ordering, service has slowed. Hopefully our bad experience won't be the new norm for this place.

Awesome place for brunch! The food, the coffee, and the mimosas were absolutely delicious. Dave was a great help and you guys are lucky to have him there! Definitely going to be coming back again
