Zabar's - Broad Channel

There is a delicious and exciting experience here every time I go.I bought many cheeses, gold meats, and original champagne chocolates as souvenirs during my stay in Manhattan. Zabar's is an institution. From their smoked fish to their bagels and all their amazing catering offerings. I would move from Canada to the Upper West side, if I could, just to be able to go to Zabar's regularly. Whenever we are down in NYC, Zabar's is a must stop and we load up on bagels, French butter and other sundries to take back home. One of the definite stars of their line up is their coffee! The French/Italian beans are the best! The time and care they take in to testing, roasting their coffee beans shows. I usually come home with 3 or more pounds of the French/Italian beans to last me until my next trip. Long may they be around!

Bread, cheese, and meat are all carefully selected and have a wide selection.Although there are some bargain items, this is basically a high-end upper-west supermarket. In the morning, I bought bread and other items here, went to the Natural History Museum, and had a late lunch at Central Park. It was a luxurious time.

There is nothing bad for me to say about Zabars. It's a busy fantastic place to experience! Everything is delicious here.

We order their bagels in the Midwest. We had to stop in. It did not disappoint.
