Wokuni - Broad Channel

Enjoyed our lunch a Wokuni very much — fresh seafood prepared brilliantly, generous portions and great value for money, friendly staff and nice ambience. Highly recommended. Do make reservations; I am glad I did — the restaurant was full when we arrived at 12 noon!

My family (wife and 2 teenage children) had confirmed reservations on Thanksgiving. After a $25 cab ride and showing up 15 minutes before the reservation we were told they aren’t taking reservations and the restaurant is full. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was too busy. They shouldn’t be able to get away with this type of behavior without some repercussions.

Was able to secure a same-day reservation (for 7) on Thanksgiving, so that was pretty sweet! The service was quick and attentive. The food was mostly all exceptional besides a couple mediocre appetizers. The American Kobe steak and the tuna steak were both delicious!

Amazing food and good drinks — try the litchi martini

The food was great, but honestly not worth the price. You get the same quality as an all you can eat sushi restaurant, for quadruple the price. This place has some of the best cooked duck in nyc. But their mackerel was horrible. The service was amazing. The California roll was made with real crab, so it tasted better than most places as well.
