I finally made it back with my aunt and uncle and had the delicious lemongrass chicken and homemade ginger tea. The server Marta was absolutely lovely and so helpful and kind. The one thing I miss is the chocolate cake with warm coconut milk that got poured over. I still remember that cake from my first visit over a decade ago. Lots of love for VCafe!

Finally!!! I’ve waited since the beginning of the pandemic for v cafe to reopen!!! V cafe is hands down the best Vietnamese food you can get in NYC. The pho ga is EXACTLY like the one I ate 5x a week when I lived in Saigon. It makes my heart and stomach happy. Cannot express my love for v cafe enough.
Place looks nice, recently got renovated. The food here is good and so are the drinks. Decent tasting Pho, have to ask for chili’s to give it a little kick which made it tastier. The mojito was surprising good and complemented the Pho (wasn’t expecting that). The rolls are nice and fresh too. Great sit-in lunch option in the area.
The food and service are great. The soups are rich and delicious. The only downfall is that it is quite pricy…
