Ruddy Dean - Broad Channel

First time here but won’t be my last! My friend/coworker wanted to go to shake shack but I’m not really a fan. I saw this place, always said I wanted to try it and talked her into it. Best lunch decision! Tom suggested the steak sandwich and it was SUPERB! Tender and juicy. I don’t like onions but I ate that sandwich as is and it wasn’t just because I was hungry. I will return to try more of the fare because my introduction was stellar!

Went tonight with my family and had an absolutely great experience. The wait service was very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered looked and tasted great. Great recommendation on a bottle of wine that was not expensive but was a very tasty Pinot Noir. The porterhouse was amazing! The sides of cream of spinach and mashed potatoes were very tasty. We live on Staten Island and have only been here two times even though we always hear great things. Will definetly be back again soon.

The food was absolutely amazing! We had the porterhouse for 2, calamari, lobster Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and the spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was so friendly! Our waiter, Danny, was so warm and welcoming to us. He’s very genuine in the way he treats his customers.

Rivaling the quality of steaks found at the highest ranked steakhouses throughout NYC, going to Ruddy Dean's is a non-stressful affair, coupled with very courteous staff and great sides, the decor of the restaurant really adds to the easy-going family-friendly place with high quality food. Prices are as expected at a place with food of this caliber. They've got a returning customer in me and my family!
