Fuchka just lacked bit of shredded egg that we bangalis are used to. Next is the sweet lassi which was very refreshing and the best one I have had so far. For main course we tried Kala Bhuna with achari khichuri, Shorshe ilish polao, Walima roast polao. Kala Bhuna was really succulent and the portion was just right for one person. The meat lacked bit salt (Its a me issue probably because I like more salt than normal people). But if you eat it with the salad, it tastes perfect. I tried the mustard from ilish. The mustard had hint of bitterness which is a positive thing for me. We finished all our food and was really satisfied. To wrap it all we had the milk tea. At this point I was really full so I opted out but I had a sip and it was the best milk tea I had in a very long time. Highly recommended!!
Service was amazing. I like their food item. Good to go with your family.
Very nice atmosphere, and stuff was very helpful to pick out what I wanted. The food is quite good, and fitting of a place like this. Price is a bit up from last time I was there, but quantity also went up, so that evens out. Their Faluda is the best I've ever had.
3 stars for design and style. Amazing looking spot and love what they did with it. The only thing is food isn’t really that good compared to typical Bengali joints like the other premium, Haat bazaar, Mamas, Sagar. While this restaurants food is supposed to give you a more upper class feel, it surely does in terms of ambience, and even the fragrance of the food. The food smells amazing, otherwise the taste is sort of bland. All said and done, it’s still worth trying out once. Also love their packaging style.
The appetizers are below average. Tehari was good. Walima Roast Excellent. Beef khalo bhuna and kichuri good. Kaachi biryani average. Borhani below average.
