Pappardella - Broad Channel

Im a fairly new resident on UWS and a friend recommended Pappardella. Ambience is is old world with nice music. The bread is amazing! Pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and zuppa di frutti de mare (appetizer) were excellent. Im Italian and im very picky about aforementioned cuisine. Best ive had since my Mama Nonna's cooking. Will return with pleasure.

Pappardella was fantastic yet again! The first time I came was for lunch in Summer 2021 when I was living in Manhattan. I happened to stumble across it after touring apartments on the UWS and had some delicious pasta and wine [huge wine list! . This most recent visit, I came with my partner and his friend/colleague. Service was great, got mushroom ragu and gnocchi with pesto. The gnocchi themselves were good but the pesto sauce was watery and bland. Very expensive gamble that I lost on that dish. Everything about the Mushroom ragu was great just wish it was a bigger portion.

Best Italian in NY. Great for atmosphere, friendly staff and quality of food! Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food with authentic Italian style. The shop is a bit small, it's crowded, the price is moderate, there are a lot of customers, there is a long wait.
