Like other reviews, very tiny.We got seated outside which sounds good in theory. Why it wasn’t was because we only saw our waitress once every 30-40 minutes. So ordering the drink and closing the tab felt like it took years. The view was nice. I didn’t hate the view. But for the price and the luxury of it all, I feel like it should be higher or different. Not for me. No interest in coming back. I don’t recommend to tourists.
Horrible experience. Service was exceptionally rude. We had made reservations for 7pm. When we arrived to the hotel lobby to take the elevator up to the bar, we were greeted with a long line of restaurant and hotel guests because only one of three of the elevators were working. After twenty minutes of queuing we were greeted with an eye roll and hostility of our being late. After explaining the elevator situation (which frankly they should have already known about) we were lead to our table with a cold shoulder. Then the most unenthusiastic waitress came to take our order within seconds of us sitting down. The appeal of this restaurant is their extensive cocktail menu so it should be expected that guests will need time to decide. The atmosphere was nice and the drinks seemed finely priced for New York City but the horrible service deterred us from ordering anything else.Save your money and go to a different rooftop bar.
Views are good but the place is extremely cramped. Our couch was sandwiched between a creaky door and a window air conditioner and people kept having to apologize as they slithered past our table. The food is excellent for a rooftop. We enjoyed the sliders and spicy tuna tartare. Drinks are ok. Stick to the specialty cocktails in here. I ordered a regular margarita, and it was perfectly passable but cost me $23. Takes a long time to be served.
The AC in the terrasse is noisy and blowing hot air..
Really enjoyable brunch to take some out-of-towners. The food was good and portions were large enough to keep us satisfied most of the day, although nothing was “wow,” which I had hoped for because of how expensive it was. The tower consisted of several mini cold sandwiches, all things that are inexpensive and easy to mass-produce (think banquet food). Staff, though pleasant and attentive, seemed unprepared and had several kinks to work out along the way while we were there. I would recommend, but it's one of those things that you probably only need to do once.
