New York City Bagel Coffee House

Fantastic New York bagels! This place is a must-visit if you're in the neighborhood. The coffee was also delightful. They have an impressive variety of baked goods, from bagels to cookies. Additionally, there's a broad selection of cream cheeses available, including non-dairy options.

The bagels, muffins, and coffee are good, but the service tends to be quite slow. However, during this visit, I have to commend the cashier, who was new but very friendly and efficient. I stopped in to wait for someone and decided to grab a muffin. Having already had my coffee, I requested a cup of ice water to accompany it. As I sat down to check my emails, I looked at the receipt for the Wi-Fi password and noticed a charge of $0.75 for a cup of tap water in New York City. While I understand that businesses need to cover their expenses, this seems excessive. Offering a cup of water is part of standard service. On principle, I won’t be coming back. It’s unfortunate because NYC has plenty of bagel shops, and this kind of nickel-and-diming will only drive customers to competitors.

I ordered a small bagel, but what I received was quite large! They offer a wide variety of cream cheese flavors and all the different types of bagels you could want. The avocado toast was delicious and refreshing—perfect for a hot day. I enjoyed the egg sandwich, although I found there was a bit too much cream cheese for my liking. The eggs could have been seasoned a bit better, but the flavored cream cheese compensated for that. The lox bagel was exceptional, and the Nutella bagel is something I won't forget anytime soon. I placed my order online for pickup, and it was ready by the time we arrived.

We started our day in the best possible way with delicious bagels and coffee. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

This was likely my favorite bagel place during my time in New York. They offer an extensive menu with a wide selection of bagels. My friends also noted that this spot had some of the best coffee we tried throughout our week in New York, which included both Queens and Manhattan. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is fast and very accommodating.
