Magnolia Bakery — Upper West Side

Hi — Love magnolia but please train your staff to treat all patrons the same way when they walk in. Today I waited for 2—3 minutes (no one else in the shop) silently for someone to take my order. A man walked in after me and his order was taken immediately. I asked a second young woman who was not serving him if there was another person who does cake slices (he was ordering cupcakes) and she said the same person handles both. I go to this location often. Today! I don't who baked the vanilla/vanilla cupcakes, but those cupcakes were dry, a bit hard the frosting was hard as well. For the amount of money paid, those cupcakes should not have tasted like that. disappointed

Too sweet. Long lines. Not sure why everyone loves this. There are many better bakeries.

Always a must when I visit the city. Started going here for the banana pudding (like everyone else) but the carrot cake is easily the best I've ever had. My daughter is a huge fan of the blueberry tarts. Tip: If you go late in the day they WILL run out of the most popular items. Totally worth having to walk around with a Magnolia bag to avoid missing out on their yummy treats.

OMG! What’s wrong with the cashier and other workers here!!?? We normally have no issue with the service at other locations but this location had horrible people working here. She practically throw the banana pudding at me when she FORGOT to give it to me first place. Pay them more or hire new ones please!
