My wife and I dined at Loukoumi for the first time in several years. We have LOVELY meal and experience. We live in a neighborhood near Astoria and have been to many Greek restaurants, and we both thought the food and experience at Loukoumi was much better than other places. Food is wildly over priced for what you get, even for NY City. Portions are small for Greek cuisine. It's not the worst quality though. Everyone that works there is super nice.

We had a family-like welcome. What is left to be said? Everything was incredible. Everything!

The food, friendliness and fun to be had at this taverna are not to be missed and if I lived in the city, I’d be eating here every week. To say that the atmosphere at Loukoumi is warm and welcoming would be a vast understatement.
