Louie's Gyros - Broad Channel

I waited 30 minutes for my food on a Tuesday night, and it felt like they were prioritizing online orders ahead of mine. Unfortunately, the chicken was really dry, and the tzatziki sauce wasn’t great either. The fries seemed burnt. I was also surprised to be charged an extra $0.75 for lettuce, which seemed excessive. On a positive note, the girl at the register was very polite and friendly, and the manager was nice too. I also noticed that the kitchen staff kept their stations clean.

The grilled octopus, chicken souvlaki, and Greek salad are all excellent. Everything is fantastic!

I am always pleased when I visit Louie's Gyro, now known as Olives and Pita! If Louie is there, you can expect a warm welcome and outstanding service. The food is consistently served hot, and they accommodate vegetarians very well. I highly recommend the falafel pita sandwich and the vegan gyro—they never let me down! This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. The Greek fries are incredible; we even ordered a second helping!
