Watermelon soup with crab meat is so refreshing. Beef tongue with chestnut is amazing. The mango pistachios tart tastes just right. Lobster spaghetti is tasty. Scallop sauce is a little too sweet for me. I like lamb chop be more spicy and salty side. The lamb is too plain for me. Oyster is fresh and tender. Steak is well present. Overall it worth a trip to go down and try it out.
The place was cute and the servers were nice. But the food was mediocre at best.
Our dinner experience at L 'Accolade was a hit and miss. We started with the oysters Happy Hour special. They were fresh and briny. The two pasta dishes were our least favorite. While the duck ragu with blue cheese was very tasty, the fettuccine pasta was very undercooked. We had to cut it with a knife. The cavatelli with veal cheeks was better although I found the rague to be a bit salty. The star dish of the night was the DUCK. The breast was extremely tender and juicy. And the leg on the side (we assume it was en croute pulled leg meat duck) was supreme.Between the two tarts for dessert, the Summer Tart was a clear winner. It was light, with pistachio base, meringue and strawberry. The Chocolate Tart, unfortunately, was too dense.Overall, it would be helpful if the menu more clearly described the dishes. For example: the Duck dish did not specified it would be duck breast or mention the side en croute.Despite the flaws, the Chef has great imagination. The issue is in the execution of the dishes.
Happy hour is a great deal, especially for glasses of wine. Everything was delicious, especially the oysters, the lobster spaghetti, and the duck confit. Wonderful service and great ambiance.
My family and I went to celebrate birthday. It's our first time here and it was such a great place with amazing dishes. Nearly everything was on the point, but we're just kinda disappointed with the famous duck breast which seemed overcooked. I don't know if it was not the best timing or it did go down in general. Besides that, I would say it was a impeccable experience.
