They offer everything from pasta to breakfast dishes to classic favorites. I highly suggest getting a drink as well, as they are reasonably priced. The baked fried rice stood out as the most unique dish I tried. I was pleased that the cheese was just the right amount—not overwhelming, but enough to create a delicious tomato rice and cheese texture reminiscent of risotto, but less moist. It’s a great idea to go with a small group so you can sample more items. This restaurant will definitely become a regular spot for my Chinatown dinners. Just a heads up: they only accept cash or Venmo for payment.
The quality of their best-selling dishes hasn’t changed much, but we also explored a few new items. The spaghetti with seafood in spicy cream sauce was underwhelming; the "spicy" element was really just kimchi. The black sesame French toast caters to those who prefer less sweetness compared to the golden lava French toast, which I consider the clear standout. Surprisingly, the black sesame version didn't even resemble the traditional Cantonese black sesame soup. Lastly, the fried shrimp and squid with salted duck egg was a disappointing attempt to combine seafood with salted duck egg flavors. It sounded enticing, but didn’t deliver on taste. The other dishes we ordered were all safe bets we know and love.
Delicious food at a reasonable price! The only downside is finding a seat. I would definitely return; cash is recommended. Be sure to try their dumplings and deep-fried crispy buns with condensed milk! Food Rating: 5/5
The place is adorable and has a wonderfully authentic atmosphere. The service is quick, and they encourage you to eat fast because it gets really busy and turnover is high. This can make the experience feel a little rushed, especially if you're with friends. The portion sizes are quite generous. I absolutely loved the chicken wings paired with the grapefruit sauce; it was the highlight of my meal! The sauce was delicious, and the pineapple bun was incredibly fresh, though I found the butter to be a bit too thick. The fried rice and ramen were both comforting and tasty. I highly recommend the chicken chop noodles. It's definitely worth a visit!
The service was excellent—quick and efficient. However, the food was only average. The curry lacked flavor, and the Hong Kong milk tea had way too much milk. The standout dish was the baked spaghetti, which actually had good flavors. Overall, I might consider trying something else if I come with someone, but I wouldn’t choose to return on my own for the food.
