Their bánh bột lọc was too thick and chewy, definitely not the right consistency and texture for bánh bột lọc. Bún Bò Huế is a little bland, I had to add fish sauce.
Good food at reasonable prices. I would come back for sure. Didn't get the pho as I like trying other dishes before I default to pho. — Hu Tieu Nam Vang (broth on the side) — love it, taste similar to my favorite places on the west coast — Com Tam Suon Bi Cha — solid, didn't stand out — Banh Bot Loc — definitely get this, you dont see this a lot with Viet restaurants in NYC — Goi Ga — simple, refreshing — Cha Gio — very standard fried spring roll I would come back to try out their Pho and Bun … – show
I thought the reviews exaggerated the quality of the food at this restaurant. The service was friendly efficient.
I loved their Banh Mi shop so when I heard they opened a restaurant I was eager to try it. I’ve been here around 5 times now and they’ve been very consistent. The dish to get is the Hu Tieu and Banh Bot Loc both which are not usually done at a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Last minute they were able to seat 13 people so it’s good for large groups too. Bring cash or there’s a fee for credit cards.
This place is real. Thrilled NYC has finally landed a legitimate Viet ristorante
