Hometown Industry City - Broad Channel

Waited 10+ minutes while employee was chit chatting and laughing and making jokes with a co worker while I'm waiting for ONE corn bread. Even worse, she continue to talk and not assist the customer in front of me and wasted more time when more employees came in. If you like to sleep with your whole entire co worker do that on your own time. Don't waste my time or the company time. Absolutely disgusting. Shes a short hispanic worker.

Great brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Food was still hot when we received our food. Nice outdoor seating.

This place has some damn good bbq. We got the pastrami and it was just as good as what you’d find at Katz. Mac and cheese is another dish usually scrutinize because it’s so easy to get wrong and taste bland but here it was pretty tasty. I did have some issue with the speed of service at this location but I brought it up to the team and they seemed very receptive to my feedback. Can’t wait to visit this location again.

The meat was a bit fatty and very pricey. The most disappointing thing was the mac n cheese and the brisket queso. I'm still not convinced they used cheese. There was definitely no seasoning.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wingsSlaw

I went for dinner with my date l, we chose this location because of the lines in Red Hook. It was a good decision. The lines are shorter and feel faster here.We were concerned about the quality of the food and whether it would be as good as the first locale. The food was very good.I had the beef rib which was awesome, arguably the best first I've had at any barbeque spot, include Hometown Red Hook. I shall had the collards which were okay nothing special. My date had the brisket sandwich and the cornbread and loved them both. But she also preferred the beef rib get the beef rib.Now the annoying! The soft drinks were tepid, almost room temperature. They didn't have any metal forks, which is not a normal restaurant problem. And more annoying when your trying to eat a one pound rib.
