Gaonnuri - Broad Channel

It used to be my go to spot for Korean bbq especially Galbi, but the quality of Galbi has gone down a lot and it's not as good as it used to be… not coming back

We ordered premium sets and the staff were friendly and cooked everything for us. They timed the delivery of each part of the course well. The view from the window was amazing. One thing to be careful about: when they ask if you would like some water or sparkling water, make sure to check the menu first. I asked for sparkling water without asking for details and ended up paying for quite a fancy bottle of sparkling water which was too large for me to finish.

Preserves the authentic Korean flavor, served with the elegance of a high-end restaurant. Highly recommend

A wonderful dining experience. Usually sampler courses do not offer much food, but I was bursting at the seams after my course.

Great view, but the meat quality was not good. $195 for 7- 1oz cuts Of the 7 cuts, 2 were of acceptable quality, the rest were tough and stringy. I'm unsure how this could be but some of our party didn't even finish their meat. The soup was underseasoned and did not taste like a seafood soup, severly lacking depth. They did not have daikon wrap and when we asked for lettuce and garlic, the end of the garlic clove was not trimmed, Kitchen fail. We had 3 diffrent severs through our meal which made the experience fragmented and less cohesive. Finally the Value was just not there by any means. I understand you pay for the view, but the food in general was inadequate at best. Would not recommend
