Edgar's Cafe - Broad Channel

Best dessert selection on the UWS. So many different cakes, pies, and pastries, all of them heavenly. I usually get 2 or 3 desserts to go, pay cash, and leave a tip. This may explain why the owner has always been friendly with me.

Delicious gluten free pasta and shrimp avocado salad! Waitress was so attentive and kind!

I tried the Bolognese and a bunch of pies like cranberry peach apple walnut, elderberry, etc. they were all pretty good

Stumbled across this cozy spot and so happy I did! Came on a Sunday around 11am and it was quiet, and staff was extremely welcoming. Ordered the classic two eggs and it comes with toast, potatoes and salad for under $10. Most coffee drinks are under $5. This goes on my favorite neighborhood finds! Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free toast as well as almond and soy milk for dairy allergies.

Didn't have any food but that was one of the best hot chocolates in New York!
