Balaboosta - Broad Channel

Amazing fresh tasty great food. I enjoyed every bite of every dish.

Decent dinner, but not as great as I was expecting. The steak was tough and overall I found the flavors to be bland. The basement doesn’t have the greatest ambience for large parties.

The food in general was delicious, the hummus was incredible, one of the best I’ve tried. We had to change the reservation several times because of our late flight and they were so comprehensive.

Absolutely loved the whipped feta and bread and the Branzino and rosemary mocktail. The cauliflower and potatoes were very good too but the potatoes were a bit too salty and the cauliflower a bit on the bland side. The soup dumplings were delicious but there were only 2 in the portion

A neighborhood gem that's worth the trip from other parts. Think Israeli tapas, small plates of elevated Mediterranean food meant to be shared. Having had the whole menu, I can confidently say there are no low points. The front is friendly and attentive and the kitchen is efficient and consistent. The menu changes regularly as well keeping things fresh and interesting.
