Amaronescarlatto - Broad Channel

Went twice May 2024. The Lamb Ragu pasta is excellent. The wine by the glass are good. The Taleggio pasta was terrible. Tasted like a flour sauce with no taleggio. The house special pasta was ok.

We cannot say enough great things about our experience at this restaurant! Had a spectacular meal, and Carlos did not disappoint, as our waiter. Drinks (also made by Carlos) were off the hook! I do think more business needs to somehow be driven to their location We were there on Mother's Day at 2-4pm and it was practically empty. People who go up and down restaurant row need to know that Amarone Scarlatto is right around the corner! We found it on google, but if you're just perusing the area, you might miss this hidden gem!

Everything was perfect. They held our table 20 minutes when our uber couldn't get across midtown, and still got us to the theater in time without feeling rushed. The food was creative and delicious, and they were informative about accommodating a friend's allergy. Highly recommended!

Ambience was excellent; food delicious! Prix fixed lunch was truly a great value , which included a $7 glass of wine. Portion size was great and tiramisu dessert was wonderful. I recommend it highly! Only snag: they could use more than one waiter at lunchtime.

Eating here has turned into a tradition for us every time we are in NYC. Service is amazing food is spectacular and every time we come, it's consistently a great experience. Can wait to come back next month when we are back in town.
