Workhouse Cafe - Bristol, City of

We stopped here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look that inviting and it's certainly no frills inside but the food was good, the menu had plenty of options and service was friendly and efficient. The coffee was excellent and the granola fantastic, a really good mix. Good prices too.

This is now called 404 Bristol. Amazing cafe with freshly filled pittas, freshly cooked meals/brunch, salads- you could see the chefs cooking. The staff worked tirelessly serving customers in the cafe those coming to the hatch for takeaway. Great selection of fresh ground coffee and cakes too!

Great location and friendly attentive staff, loved the table decorations with the random vegetables and books. Was a bit surprised how expensive the tea was! Food looked really good so hopefully will return for lunch at some point. The music is very loud so found conversation with my friend rather difficult.

We visited here to have coffee with friends and family once, the coffee was good! The problem was the music! The café owner plays ridiculously loud music throughout the day and it ruined the ambiance. We didn't feel comfortable asking him to turn it down, as he seemed a bit standoffish...

I went here on thursday morning place was pleasantly busy, but I found a table. I had to reading to do, ordered a coffee, delivered to the table and this was delicious. made from individaul beans ground to my need. Very good quality.
