Good local pub. Very hospitable. Even let me pop Gladiators on one Saturday evening. Top stuff.

I recently went to The Lion for Sunday Lunch with a large group and was extremely impressed by the amazing food and excellent service. It was the best Sunday lunch I have ever had, and the vegetarian options were well taken care of as well. I recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was very busy.

My friend recommended the lion, as she said, that her best one she'd ever had, and she was right. eating is extremely delightful, every single piece eating on the teller is made with love. the service is simply beautiful, the gentle one who served us the first time was so helpful and courteous. the pub itself is so juicy and cozy. it really has a wonderful, domestic feeling. can not recommend this location enough.

Excellent and attentive service, we were even moved into the garden without asking as soon as a table was available. well maintained one and nice eating perfect after a day to foot around bristol.

Amazing pub, great service and eat. planning to visit a lot from now on, the veggie/vegan food is fantastic.
