I have visited here as I had read good reviews about gluten-free milk / vegan options, I was not disappointed! my mothers masala chai looked beautiful, said the owner that she is in the rule in the position to make it with an alternative milk, but sad ran out at this opportunity I will be ordered 100% it next time! the prawn saag was beautiful, garnel were perfectly cooked the Indian style rice was beautiful, even without curry on it. my mother also thoroughly enjoyed her curry, which is great as she has extra high standards due to my vater with a delicious Indian taking during the growing up, we also enjoyed the pakoras that is again highly praised as my fathers pakoras and bhajis were much to live up to. it was amazing to be able to be a bread dish as a GF/DF diner, the makki roti was similar to a normal roti, but somewhat denser still not hard on the mag that was great, the mango chutney was the best thing I have ever tasted! portioning are good, not over the top but not too small either, exactly right, prices are also appropriate. the owner family who run the business are all really nice and really passionate about the food, good ingredients and in the position to have inclusive options so that everyone can enjoy their traditional, comforting domestic eating, this is obvious how the owner/cook talked about eating, diverse diet options and business together with throwing in some free flavors all came to enjoy very good for us! I can't wait to visit by the way and try the gluten-free /vegan samosas along with the tandoori tofu whatever I'm up to my hands!
The restaurant offers delicious and authentic Indian dishes made with fresh ingredients like spinach and chicken. A standout item is the minced lamb and peas dish, which comes highly recommended. Guests can also bring their own alcohol from a nearby pub and pay with cash or bank transfer. This restaurant is considered one of the best authentic Indian restaurants in Bristol.
I decided to visit this restaurant after hearing great reviews about their gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options, and I was not disappointed! The masala chai my mom ordered looked beautiful, but unfortunately they had run out of alternative milk on this occasion. However, I will definitely be ordering it next time! The prawn saag was delicious and the prawns were cooked perfectly. The Indian-style rice was also tasty even without curry on top. My mom also thoroughly enjoyed her curry, which is saying a lot as she has high standards from growing up with tasty Indian takeaways. We also loved the pakoras, a tough act to follow as my dad's were always fantastic. As a gluten-free, dairy-free diner, I was thrilled to be able to try the makki roti, which was similar to a normal roti but slightly denser yet still light on the stomach. The mango chutney was the best I've ever had! The portion sizes were just right, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality and care put into each dish. The owner's family, who run the business, were all very kind and passionate about the food, ingredients, and providing inclusive options for everyone to enjoy. The owner/chef's enthusiasm was evident in how they spoke about the food, dietary options, and business. They even threw in some free tasters for us to try, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food arrived quickly, and we were seated even though we arrived earlier than our reservation time, which I really appreciated. I can't wait to visit again and try the gluten-free vegan samosas, as well as the tandoori tofu and anything else I can get my hands on!
Very quick delivery, gluten free options and great value for money. And it’s cooked carefully and not swimming in oil. Very tasty we’ll be ordering again. Repeatedly.
