Aidan's Pub - Bristol

This is the Irish pub that every town should have. The food is outstanding, the service is warm and accommodating, and we've never left without having a fantastic experience. This weekend, we ordered the Fish and Chips along with the vegetable of the day, and the portions were massive! We're thrilled to have leftovers. Plus, it’s a kid-friendly spot! Within just two minutes of being there, our server asked if our toddler liked to color and promptly brought over a box of crayons and a coloring page. Nice to meet you, Aiden!

Aidan's Pub is a beloved spot for our family. I've included photos from our visits during both the summer and winter. This past winter, our son specifically chose to drive to Aidan's for his birthday celebration, and we couldn't have been happier to enjoy a delightful dinner by the fire on a chilly day. However, my wife and I especially cherish the outdoor dining on the deck. We adore the Fish and Chips, the Farmer's Stew, and Grandma Ennis' Chicken Dinner. But our absolute favorite? The steak sandwiches! Seriously, we've made the half-hour drive just to indulge in those delicious sandwiches! Oh, and I can't forget to mention—my wife tells everyone that your Ultimate Chocolate Cake is the best dessert on the planet. The food and service are always worth the trip!

We returned for a second visit after enjoying a nice meal the first time, but we should have chosen a different restaurant. We waited nearly two hours for our entrees, even though we were dining inside where there were plenty of empty tables. Our server seemed overwhelmed and largely absent. I really want to like this place, so I'm giving it three stars based on our previous experience. It’s unfortunate, as the food quality is generally very good, except for the steak sandwich, which was quite tough. I don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

Very disappointing. Came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Not super busy. Was sat outside and after a good 15-20 minutes had gone by without being greeted saw the host and asked who our server was because nobody came by. Several servers had come out and several times and not one thought it off that we had no drinks and still had our menus? He sent someone out who I think mumbled something about maybe this area wasn?t supposed to be sat? I don?t know. She wasn?t rude but not interested. I ordered a Reuben and it was missing the dressing on it. I should?ve asked for a side of it but I honestly didn?t think the server would even check on us but she surprisingly did but I forgot to. It was a disappointing experience.

Went for a lunch date! Irish Nachos were phenomenal. Bangers and Mashed were also excellent!
