It was evident that everything was homemade, and the sandwiches featured a variety of unique vegan fillings. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into creating truly delicious options for vegan diners, instead of simply mirroring the non-vegan selections.
The afternoon tea at this restaurant was fantastic! They served a delicious selection of sandwiches along with a bottomless pot of tea. We tried the Portobello mushroom and pea, cucumber, cured chickpeas, and red pepper sandwiches as part of their vegan-friendly afternoon tea option, which is available all year round. They also offered oat milk and soy milk for tea. The dessert selection included a walnut java cake, lemon cake, and avocado brownie on the middle tier, while the top tier featured delightful scones with jam and clotted cream. Everything, including the bread, was homemade. The vintage decor and ambiance added to the overall charming experience. All of this for just £16.95. Highly recommended!
