Dareshack - Bristol

Ordered a vegan shakshuka smoked tofu dish. both were delicious and really tasteful and not just their standard fees. also ordered fresh juices. they do not charge extra for milk and they also had vegan tasty. surprisingly good for a non veggie/vegan caffe. the place looked like he was still in construction and they could do with something better lighting and some heating

Although Dareshack has a limited selection of vegan options on their menu, they do offer the possibility to customize certain items to fit a vegan diet. I tried the avocado on toast (without the egg), and it was the best I've ever had! The bread was thick and fresh, the avocado was wonderful, and the tomatoes were delicious! I also enjoyed a green smoothie that was equally tasty. They often have other vegan treats available, such as cakes, biscuits, and a vegan sausage roll. While the options may be limited, the quality of the food is outstanding and incredibly delicious. I would come back solely for the avocado toast! The café has a unique and rustic atmosphere that adds to its charm. The staff was extremely friendly, and you can see the kitchen where the food is being prepared, which is a nice touch. It's an unexpected gem for vegan dining, but it's truly amazing, and I would definitely recommend it 100%!

They didn't have any food available. We wanted to go there for breakfast, but the only option was a vegan sky brownie, which was too heavy for our taste. It would be great for a coffee with milk, though.

I enjoyed a lovely milk cappuccino on a rainy day. I can't speak to the food since I didn't eat anything, and there weren't many vegan options available. However, I believe there are usually some available! This is an update based on the previous review from July 10, 2022.
