I took my daughter today and shaved all the way over the promise of a Fab...burger, horrified! the extra taste, blue cheese, was not present and the burger dry and boring ... can not tell them how disappointed I was, and she could not see clearly what it was about the fuss? at £13 for two burgers and a part of the chips, not worth it. dry and tasteless, they can and used to do better! the shop was not busy, so there is no excuse. sad, so disappointed by a burger, but it was a fun reminder pampered, please try who they were earlier
We have ordered a few burgers in our time and we must say that was the best place! will definitely order again, beautiful juicy burger, many chips.
Just eaten our monthly order. We get a takeaway maybe every 4-6 weeks. Tonight’s was really disappointing. One portion of fries missing (order taken down wrong), burger and all 3 chicken burgers dry as over-cooked, fries tasting not fresh, all with too much sauce. I’m...sorry to write this as Ciao has been such a staple for us for 10+ years and I always rave about it to friends! So disappointing. My family not keen to use you again- Ciao, this could be the end of the road.
Deliveroo refused to amend an order that I had put through less than a minute before and when I called the restaurant direct the nice enough staff said there was nothing they could do either it was all in Deliveroo's hands. They confirmed the food...was ready and waiting at 13.34 for deliveroo to collect it got to me about a mile away at 2.05pm so, of course, it was stone cold. Shame an independent burger place has to deal with Deliveroo.... A very expensive but mediocre burger and cold on top. Very disappointing birthday treat for my son.
Been coming here for 20 years . Occasionally I try other burger joints but always end up back at Ciao. Friendly little place and the fries are superb too
