Ze Pickle - Brisbane

I came here from a friends recommendation bragging on about how excellent there burgers were. I suggest get there early during happy hour. The staff are friendly, very hospitable and knowledgeable with there drinks and food. The place is very modern

Fat, disgustingly greedy and tasty. Useless to say that I enjoyed every single bite of it! In certain occasion you crave for this kind of food. Simple as that

My husband and I came for lunch and had the buffalo wings and sweet potato fries it was amazing it took us back to being in the USA would recommended this place in Brisbane for the wings, fries, beer and wine I would definitely come back again see you again Zepickle

Very hipster vibe, love the lighting and general fixtures and fittings. Service was friendly but a little slow. This review started at 2 but due to the friendly service and burger quality I raised the score! With prices ranging from $12 for a relatively small plate of fries to a whopping $39 for a burger (just the burger no sides!) this place is not for those on a budget. Tap beer also very expensive at $12 to $14 a schooner. Also no split bill policy, they direct you across the road to an ATM (#changethispolicy). Wait for food for us was over an hour (total of 32 people in restaurant at time of order) which is a little long (they did apologise for this). Triple Loco looked amazing. Brisket was fantastic, maple bacon a good addition and grilled cheese top and bottom inspired and probably the best grilled cheese I have had in Australia. The beef patty needs some additional flavour (seasoning is key here) to bring the overall burger up a notch. Moms slaw was also a little bland. Overall a "not bad" experience. Good to try but probably not enough for a repeat experience ;).

Beer was nice although a bit pricey. Service is good. Ordered the special which was a bun with brisket and American cheese among other fillings. Took one bite and tried to but just couldn't eat it. Don't know whether it was just my taste buds or my sense of smell but it was just too sickly.
