The Coffee Club - Brisbane

Only one had a mix where I got the wrong drink. Always had a service with a smile and coffee was always good. Breakfast here once;...

Today I was at the coffee club Chermside with my nana the staff were ok and friendly but the only downside was that I ordered smashed avocado with salmon they somehow forgot to put the salmon on it and I had to tell one of the staff members that I ordered it with salmon she had to go get salmon and my nana ordered Ham & tomato sandwich and it came back with ham, cheese, tomato and one of the quarters had fallen off somehow on her plate when the lady brought it over so she had wait again for the other quarter to come, I was really hoping that the coffee club had improved since I haven't been there for awhile and look like I won't be in rush to go back there again.

Love the great service here and so nice having a break from shopping and an ice cold Mango fruit frappe on a hot day. Just fruit no milk. 1452kj.

Coffee Clubs award winning coffee (Compak award, Gold medal for chain/franchise espresso, 2015) is undeniably sound coffee. Service could very well be award winning too - staff are friendly, helpful and informative. A very refined and a smooth blend, Coffee Club rarely disappoints and their White Chocolate Mocha is classically done. However, in terms of going to the next level performance wise, Coffee Club's 'play it safe and please the masses' approach can only go so far before it is outdone by its rivals who offer more coffee 'kick'. Red Velvet cake was the choice to join the perfect drug (caffeine) and as with Coffee Club cakes generally very easy on the eye (if not the calorie counter). The white chocolate icing was magnificent, but sadly the sponge was very dry and let the side down. I recommend you go with the chocolate Mud Cake and a Flat White or Latte for the ultimate Coffee Club experience.
