Agreed with Diana that the Campos coffee was good with full body and nice aroma. Food-wise, may be I set the par too high, absolutely agree with espresso&matcha that the sand crab omelette is generous involving large amount of crab meat but the egg was overdone. Honestly, I did not taste any sweetness from the crab meat and the avocado did not match with the omelette. Service should be the main reason of achieving a higher mark than average.
A newly opened modern cafe with big airy verandahs a few interior tables. First up coffee was served came to the table perfectly presented with rich aromas. My breakfast order was the Pop's Paratha, a buttery pancake with a spiced egg filling, coriander avocado, topped with crispy popadoms chutneys on the side. A delight to the eye even better to eat. What a change from your typical bacon eggs
Long term readers of my blog will know that Indian is one of the few cuisines that I am not too familiar with, but this cannot be said for Adam. So when he asked if I was keen to try out some Indian inspired breakfast at West End, I came along for the ride and expanded my horizons. Table 26 is situated along the residential apartments of Duncan Street, a fair way away from the commercial strip of Boundary Street.
Table 26 is located on Duncan Street, easily accessible from either Montague Road or Riverside Drive! The cafe itself is decorated like a sunny day – lots of light, faux grass, lovely green wall and plenty of seating (some in the sun and some out). The service was friendly and accommodating and the menu had some awesome options with twists on classic dishes. It was a really hard choice.
We’re new to the area and on our first visit, we met Jess, our waitress. Her service was friendly, efficient, personalised and thoughtful. She remembers our names, our orders and is always lovely. Our food and coffee have been great, too. Dog friendly cafe within easy walk to river.
