Absolutely recommend this yummy and authentic Italian cafe.

Very good pizza and very very good tiramisu Cozy place as in Elbow to elbow to elbow sitting and nothing really fits on the table.

What I couldn't imagine was a pizza place on the corner of vogue plaza on chapel st.

It's not very often we get to enjoy a day out as a couple, so when it happens we endeavour to make the absolute most of it! Today was one of those days, our son was at school and a friend was picking him up, just in case we didn't quite make it back in time! I had a business meeting at the Gasworks in Newstead, and scheduled the day around taking advantage of my old haunts whilst in town! Gasworks has changed enormously in the thirteen years since I lived in the area, I remember the giant big-top tent that used to envelop the open land all those years ago! Today, despite the building site next door, the area is a more inviting and tranquil landscaped setting, and Peng You overlooks the old gas tank frame and parkland; the view being the first reason we selected this venue! We arrived late in the lunch period, so the area was quieter than expected, and fewer diners around too. We were greeted by a wonderfully pleasant and welcoming (owner of the restaurant, I believe) team eager to seat us and show off a simple lunch, or the a la carte menu, with a rather good wine selection offering too! We decided on the simple lunch, and both selected the hawkers chicken noodles, and a shared side dish of steamed buns! And I can safely say, it was spectacular! Not too spicy, sufficiently filling for lunch, and a great ambience to boot! Parking in the complex is simple, with a below ground car park, which offers two hours free parking - but slugs you if you go over this time! There are desert offerings in the complex too, and a great selection of other good looking restaurants which we need to try on future visits! Hopefully I will soon be spending more time in this area, and have the opportunity to visit more often... I may even bring my wife again! A great venue, and another to add to my list of places to go back to!

We had the King Prawn special main, as well as the Mixed Seafood sizzling main. Both meals were very good and you could tell that the seafood was high quality and fresh. The sizing of the meals was slightly smaller than most other Chinese places I've been to but very high quality. The staff were all very friendly. Beware, their website says that there is an $11 cocktail happy hour from 4-6 daily where they show about ten cocktails as being on sale for $11. When you arrive, there are only a selection of three during happy hour. I did however have a very nice Espresso Martini. But just be aware there is a much more limited range than that advertised online. The wine and beer list is OK, not magnificent. I liked the food here, it is certainly good quality but no more so than Happy Boy or Sichuan Bang Bang, both being considerably cheaper.
